Dr. Evan H. Kwong

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Evan H. Kwong obtained his BSc in Pharmacy and MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of British Columbia. After his MD degree from the University of Toronto, he moved to Calgary for his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Kwong’s clinical practice includes neuro-rehabilitation (including stroke rehabilitation), spasticity management, electromyography, and the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.  He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the UBC Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  At Providence Health Care, he is currently the Medical Site Lead of the Holy Family Hospital Rehabilitation Services, and Division Head of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  He also holds consulting privileges at Vancouver Coastal Health, and works in the community at Infinity Medical Specialists Clinic.  His interest in health quality has led him to study further in the Queen’s University PhD program in Health Quality.
