Dr. Mona Kwong, BSc(Pharm), PharmD, MSc, RPh

Clinical Pharmacist

Mona Kwong is the clinical pharmacist on our team. She received her Bachelor’s of Pharmacy and her Master’s of Science degrees from UBC and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida.

Mona has worked in community, hospital and university settings. Her main areas of clinical expertise are in community continuing care and chronic disease management. She is interested in enhancing the quality of patient care, promoting collaborative inter-professional teams, education (patients and peers) and mentorship of junior healthcare professionals. In addition to her work at IMSC, she maintains a practice in downtown Vancouver.

Mona is actively involved in various regulatory bodies such as the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia and the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. She has presented in national and local seminars as well as received various awards for her practice, leadership and research.
