On March 10, 2020, the World Health Organization declared a global COVID-19 pandemic. This means that this novel coronavirus has spread across the world. One of the best strategies to decrease the spread of COVID-19 is “social distancing”. The risk of infection with COVID-19 increases when people come together. Groups of people sitting together are being discouraged by public health experts. Our waiting room, transit stations, public buses and trains are particularly risky.
For this reason, Infinity Medical Specialists Clinic will be joining other Canadian health care clinics and institutions by practicing “social distancing” to limit the spread of COVID-19.
Effective immediately, we are converting our in-person patient appointments to virtual telemedicine visits ONLY during the pandemic.
We will be utilizing a secure virtual platform named doxy.me.
You will be asked to provide your verbal consent for us to use this platform during your virtual telemedicine visit. A copy of the consent form can be found via this link:
You will be invited to your virtual consultation via a link sent to you by email or text.
This platform is easy to use and intuitive.
You will continue to receive the best patient care from our team of health care professionals.
We look forward to the day when we can welcome you back to Infinity Medical Specialists Clinic without added risks to you, your family and your health care team..
